INTRODUCTION
A TRAINING DESIGNED FOR PRIMARY AND COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
This training program was designed based on content developed with the World Association of Social Psychiatry (WASP) as part of the Fight Against STigma (FAST) program for face-to-face training sessions. This content has been used successfully in several countries (Armenia, Benin, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, etc.) and enhanced by the experience of WASP

This training consists of 12 modules

It is certified by the World Association of Social Psychiatry, and other institutions

It has a total duration of about 15 hours, but you can do it at your own pace

The objective is that at the end of the course you can prevent, identify, diagnose and manage the main mental disorders

For pharmacological treatment, we invite you to refer to the recommendations of your health authorities. Where appropriate, we have made references in the modules to the WHO mhGAP intervention guide or other health authorities in France and England.
OBJECTIVES
This training is designed as an aid to daily practice.
It can be completed online but the modules can also be downloaded: this minimizes connection time and facilitates consultation at any time.
Objectives of the e-learning, to facilitate the sharing of knowledge
- Improve mental health knowledge attitudes and practices (KAP) of primary care health professionals
- Knowledge and Practices will be assessed after each eLearning module via single-choice and multiple-choice questionnaires.
- The score obtained at the post-module questionnaire allows to validate each module
- A personalized learning dashboard allows each learner to follow their progress through the curriculum

THE PROGRAM IN INDIANOCEANIA
The SEGA ONE Health network of the Indian Ocean Commission (CDC - OH-IO) recommends free access to this training for all healthcare professionals in Mauritius, the Seychelles, the Comoros, Madagascar and Reunion, in both the public and private sectors. Better awareness, information and promotion of mental health care will undoubtedly help to improve living conditions and capacities to meet the challenges facing this region, both in terms of socio-cultural change and climate change.
